Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach an advocate, including people with disabilities and people using older phones or slow connections.
Our aim
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as far as practicable.
What we have done
- Pages are available in English and Bangla.
- Headings, lists and landmarks are marked up so screen readers can navigate them, and a skip-to-content link is provided.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text.
- Text and buttons use high-contrast colours, and pages resize for mobile screens.
- Telephone and WhatsApp links let you reach us without filling in a form.
Known limitations
- The map on the Contact page is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible; the address is always given in text.
- Some statute names and legal terms are necessarily technical; our guides explain them in plain language.
- Some documents linked from official government websites are scanned PDFs outside our control.
Visiting or meeting us
If you need any adjustment for a consultation, such as a phone or video meeting instead of visiting the chamber, extra time, or help with reading documents, please tell us when you book and we will arrange it.
