If you are unhappy with our service, we want to know. Here is how to tell us, and what we will do.

Last updated September 2026BD Advocacy, 11B, 75-76 Kakrail, Dhaka 1000

How to make a complaint

Write to the Head of Chamber, Barrister Mohammad Rasel, by email at help@bdadvocacy.com with “Complaint” in the subject line, or by letter to BD Advocacy, 11B, 75-76 Kakrail, Dhaka 1000. Please include:

  • your name, telephone number and your matter or case reference;
  • what went wrong and when;
  • copies of any relevant letters or messages;
  • what you would like us to do to put it right.

What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 3 working days, telling you who is handling your complaint.
  2. Review of the file and discussion with the advocate concerned. A complaint is reviewed by someone not directly involved in the work complained of wherever possible.
  3. Written response within 21 days of acknowledgement, setting out our findings and any remedy we offer. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect a reply.

Complaints about fees

If your complaint concerns a bill, please raise it as soon as you receive the bill. We will explain how the fee was calculated against the scope agreed in writing.

Your matter will not be affected

Making a complaint will not affect how we handle your matter. If you would prefer a different advocate to take over while your complaint is reviewed, tell us.

If you remain dissatisfied

Complaints of professional misconduct by an advocate may be referred to the Bangladesh Bar Council, which regulates advocates in Bangladesh.
