Common questions
Which practice area does my problem fall under?
If you are not sure, start with the situation cards above or contact the chamber. We will tell you which section applies and who will handle it.
Do you handle cases outside Dhaka?
Our chamber is in Kakrail, Dhaka. We appear in the Supreme Court and in courts and tribunals listed on our courts and tribunals page. Whether we can take a matter in another district depends on the court and the hearing schedule; ask us at the first call.
Do you handle company formation, tax and VAT compliance?
Routine registration and compliance work is handled by our sister platform LegalDesk.bd. Business disputes, appeals and court work are handled by the chamber; see For Business Clients.
Can you act for me if I live abroad?
Yes. Most work can be done through a power of attorney and video calls. See NRB and overseas clients.
Is the first consultation a commitment?
No. A first consultation is a conversation. You decide whether to instruct us after you have the written plan.
