Namjari Online Status Check 2026: How to Track Your Application and What Each Status Means
After you file, the application moves through five statuses. Each one tells you something different about what to do next, and one of them, archived, means you have lost the application. Here is where to check, what to enter, and what each label means.

The short answer
Open mutation.land.gov.bd, choose আবেদনের সর্বশেষ অবস্থা দেখুন (see latest application status), select your division, enter the application number and the NID used to apply, solve the captcha and search. The same check is available in the Ministry of Land’s নামজারি app. You will see the current status, the hearing date if fixed, and after approval the option to pay the DCR fee and download the khatian. Use only the official portal: third-party “status check” sites are not connected to the land office.
What each status means

The hearing notice
The hearing date is sent by SMS to the mobile number on the application and shown on the portal. Attend with the original documents. If the status stays “in process” for more than the target period with no SMS, call the helpline 16122 with the application number, or visit the upazila land office. Do not pay anyone to “move” the file; the status is the file.
After approval: pay and download
- When the status shows approved, the portal offers payment of the Tk 1,000 record-correction and Tk 100 DCR fee.
- Pay online by mobile banking or card and note the transaction ID.
- Once confirmed, download the mutation khatian and the DCR. Both carry a QR code; anyone can verify them by scanning.
- Open your land development tax holding at ldtax.gov.bd in your own name.
If the status is rejected
Open the order and read the reason. A missing or mismatched document is cured by a fresh application with the right papers. If the officer overlooked a document or got the facts wrong, you can ask the same AC (Land) to review within 30 days, or appeal to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) within 30 days of the order. Checking someone else's namjari
The status check needs the application number and the applicant’s NID, so it is for the applicant. To see whether land has been mutated into someone’s name, check the khatian on eporcha.gov.bd by mouza and khatian or dag number. A namjari khatian you were not told about over land you own is a ground for a misc case before the AC (Land).

Common questions
How do I check my namjari application status online?
Go to mutation.land.gov.bd, choose the latest application status option, select your division, enter the application number and NID, solve the captcha and search. The নামজারি app does the same.
What does প্রক্রিয়াধীন mean?
In process: the office is reviewing the application or waiting for the field report. No action is needed until the hearing SMS arrives.
What does পেন্ডিং mean in e-namjari?
Something is awaited from you: a clearer document, a missing paper, or your attendance at a fixed hearing. Open the application to see the note.
My status says approved. What now?
Pay the Tk 1,000 record-correction and Tk 100 DCR fee online promptly, then download the khatian and DCR. Unpaid approvals are archived after about 30 days.
What does archived mean?
The application was approved but the fee was not paid in time, so it was closed. You have to apply again and pay the fee again.
Can I check namjari status by mobile number?
The portal asks for the application number and NID. SMS updates come to the mobile number given in the application.
How long should I wait before complaining?
The target is 28 working days for a general application. If it passes with no hearing notice, call 16122 with your application number.
Is the online khatian valid without a seal?
Yes. The QR-coded khatian and DCR downloaded from the portal are valid and verifiable by scanning the code.
